Mixer basics

The mixer allows you to make new videos from your existing videos. Edit a video down to the good parts, reorder them, combine several together...it's all up to you. Think of it as a highlight reel of all your good stuff!

To add your video to the Mixer, you simply open up the video's playpage and select the "Trim" icon to the right of your video and you can "Add to mixer" on the next page.

You can add as many videos as you'd like to the Mixer up to 2 hours total. When you're done, save your edited creation as a new video, which you can then share with friends and family.

The mixer has three main components:

1. The video list. The video list shows you the videos that are currently in your Mixer. You can drag and drop the order of your videos, or remove videos if you decide you don't need them.
2. The preview screen. The preview screen lets you play your mix-in-progress before publishing it as a new video. Feel free to make changes if you don't like what you see.
3. The editing panel. All of the videos that you've put in the mixer will appear here as a series of thumbnail images. If you want to keep most of your video in the mix, you can adjust the start and end points of each video and save only what you want. If you just want to include a short segment, simply click and drag to select the part of the video you'd like to include, and choose “trim to selection” from the menu.
